  Richard Potter was born 14 February 1792 in North Carolina and died 2 January 1886 in Buchanan Co., VA. Richard married Christina "Teeny" Ramey 20 January 1825 in Pike Co., KY. Teeny was born in 1803 and died in 1868. She is buried in the Elkhorn City, Cemetery, Elkhorn City, KY in an unmarked grave. She was the daughter of William Ramey and Anna Samlins.

  Benjamin Potter was born about 1796 in North Carolina and died in 1870 in KY. He married (1st) to Susannah ? in 1816. Susannah ? was born about 1794 in North Carolina and died in 1859. Benjamin married (2nd) to Mary Polly Lunce about 1860.

  Levi Potter was born in 1798 in NC and married Jane Hollingsworth about 1810 in Clay Co., KY. Jane Hollingsworth was born about 1794 in Ashe Co., NC and died about 1840 in Clay Co., KY.

  Isaac Potter was born in 1801 in Pike Co., KY and died on 8 November 1874 in Letcher Co., KY. Isaac married Mary Polly Houston on 17 April 1827 in Perry Co., KY. Mary Polly was born in 1809 and died on 10 May 1888. She is buried in Potter's Fork, Letcher Co., KY. (On the death certificate of Mary Polly's son Abraham Potter 1837, it states that his Mother was born "over the sea". This information was provided by Abraham's wife, Sarah "Sallie" Wright Potter).

  John Potter was born in 1799.

  Abraham Potter Jr was born in 1804 in NC. He married Patsy Hollingsworth on 10 February 1827 in Clay Co., KY.

  Jane "Jinny" Potter was born in 1815. She married (1st) to Thomas Stewart on 7 September 1831 in Perry Co., KY. She married (2nd) to Oade "Owen" Mullins on 11 October 1846 in Pike Co., KY. Oade "Owen" Mullins was the son of William "Bald Head" Mullins and Betsy Roberts.
