Abraham Potter was born 13 August 1837 in Letcher Co., KY and died 13 May 1913 in Pike Co., KY. Abraham Potter was the son of Isaac Potter 1801 and Mary Polly Houston.   Albritton "Britt" Potter 1872 Britt was also known as A. B. He was b 13 Sept 1872 and d 19 Dec 1929. Britt married Ardelia Mullins. More on Albritton and Ardelia can be found at the Potter Flats Website.

  Joel Martin "Mart" Potter was born 4 March, 1875 and died on 20 April, 1949. "Mart" is buried in the Potter Family Cemetery, Payne Gap, KY. He married (1st) Eliza Francis Reynolds on 6 Oct 1894 in Whitesburg, Letcher Co., KY. Eliza Frances was born on 16 December, 1877 and died in 1975.

Eliza was the daughter of William Henry Reynolds and Matilda Frances Baker. Eliza is listed on her tombstone in the Reynolds Cemetery, Seco, KY as Eliza Davis 1877-1975 "Grannie". Here is a picture of Eliza's Tombstone.

  Mary Rebecca Jane Potter was born 15 September 1887 and died 31 March 1947. She is buried in the Potter Family Cemetery, Payne Gap, Letcher Co., KY. She married on 5 September 1904 to John Henry Addington. John was born 15 May 1878 and died 15 December 1953. John is buried in the Potter Family Cemetery, Payne Gap, Letcher Co., KY.

  Creed F Potter 1882 was thought a hero by Noah Reynolds (our Granny Eliza Frances Reynold's brother) in his book about the notorious "Reynolds - Wright Feud".

This feud involved many of our ancestors on both sides. Creed was placed in prison but escaped. We have tried for years to find this family with no luck. If anyone has any information about this interesting ancestor, please email us. This is one of our unsolved mysteries that we'd very much like to solve. Our Dad, Creed was named after Creed 1882.
