  Bethany Lauranie Smith was born 28 August, 1880 Knott Co., Ky and died 18 February, 1954 Floyd Co., Ky  She married Benton Smith on 30 August, 1895 in Troublesome Creek, Knott Co., KY. Benton Smith was born 25 March, 1877 in KY and died 21 November, 1966 in Prestonsburg, Floyd Co., KY. He was the son of Jordan Smith and Mary Ann Combs.

  John R Smith was born 1 January 1882 in Knott Co., KY and died 20 February 1940 in Perry Co., KY. I'm sorry to say I don't know anything about this John R Smith.

  William "Riley" Smith was born 1883 in Knott Co., KY. He married "Nannie" Belle Breeding. Nannie Belle Breeding was born 4 November, 1884 and died 22 July 1926. Nannie was the daughter of James H Breeding and Vina Cody. Nannie Breeding Ancestors.

  Leona Smith (Our Grandmother) was born on 14 April, 1884 and died 12 August, 1966. She married (1st) James Jim Hale. Leona Smith Hale 1884 married (2nd) on 29 March 1909 to Elijah "Green" Fuller. Elijah "Green" Fuller was the son of Elijah "Bunt" Fuller and Martha Combs. Leona Smith married (3rd) Joel Martin "Mart" Potter. Leona and Mart married late in life and had no children from their marriage.

  Vina "Viney Belle" Smith was born August 1885 and died 19 July 1946 in Perry Co., KY. She married Thomas "Tommy" Smith. Thomas Tommy Smith was the son of Jordan Smith and Mary Ann Combs. Tommy was born 9 September 1882 and died 17 September 1958.

  Mary Ann Smith was born on 1 December, 1887 in Knott Co., KY. She married Jeremiah J Combs on 23 December 1903 in Knott Co., KY. She married George Francis.

  Martha "Marthy" Jane Smith was born 14 August 1890 and died 12 April 1979 in Knott Co., KY. Martha Jane Smith is buried in the Greasy Burgey Cemetery at Pine Top, Knott Co KY. Marthy married on 12 March 1906 to Maryland Amburgey.

Maryland Amburgey was born 18 December 1880 and died 26 February 1965. Maryland Amburgey was the son of William "Greasy Bill" Amburgey and Minerva Pratt.  Maryland Amburgey is buried in the Greasy Burgey Cemetery, Pine Top, Knott Co KY. Children of Martha Jane Smith and Maryland D Amburgey;

  William McKinley Smith (aka Kinley) was born 22 April 1896 in Knott Co., KY and died March 1984. He married Lucinda "Aunt Sis" Calhoun. Children of William McKinley and Lucinda "Aunt Sis" Calhoun Smith;

  Elijah Smith was born in 1902 in Knott Co., KY. He married 23 Aug 1924 in Sassafras, Knott Co KY by W. G Combs in the presence of Martha Amburgey and Ida Smith to Nancy Franklin.
