Mary Polly was born in 1809 "over the sea" according to the death certificate of her son Abraham Potter 1837. Abraham's wife, Sarah "Sallie" Wright Potter supplied that bit of information. Mary Polly died 10 May 1888 and is buried in Potter's Fork, Letcher Co., KY.  (Source). Children of Isaac and Mary Polly Houston Potter;

  John "Boone" Potter was born 7 February 1828 in Perry Co., KY and died 5 May 1911 in Lawrence Co., KY. He was a Methodist Minister. He is buried in the Childer's Cemetery, Hilton, KY. John "Boone" married 27 March 1851 in Pike Co., KY to Susannah Ellen "Sookey" Sanders. Susannah was born 22 March 1831 and died 12 February 1892. Susannah Ellen Sanders was the daughter of Thomas Jefferson Sanders and Elizabeth C McBrayer. These are Steve Frisby's GG Grandparents.

  Jane Perlina Potter was born 6 April 1831 in Pike Co., KY and died 8 December 1918. Jane married 1852 to James Anderson.

  Hannah "Hanner" Potter was born 2 December 1833 in KY and died 15 July 1904. She is buried in the Sanders Cemetery on Sycamore in Pike Co., KY. Hannah married on 19 June 1852 to Wade Hillard Sanders. Wade was born March 1821 and died 13 November 1901. He is buried in the Sanders Cemetery on Sycamore in Pike Co., KY. Wade Willard Sanders was the son of Thomas Jefferson Sanders and Elizabeth C McBrayer. These are GG Grandparents of Connie Hopson Damron.

  Mary "Pop" Potter was born in 1836 and died after 1910 in Letcher Co., KY. She was married on 22 February 1855 in Letcher Co., KY to George Wright. George Wright was born 19 March 1829 in McRoberts, KY and died 12 June 1890. George was the son of Joel Martin Wright and Susannah Bates.

  Abraham Potter was born 13 August, 1837 in Letcher Co., KY and died 13 May, 1913 in Pike Co., KY. Abraham was buried on 15 May, 1913 in the Potter Family Cemetery, Payne Gap, KY. These are Great-Grandparents of Annette Potter

Abraham married on 15 July 1869 to (2nd) Sarah "Sallie" Wright. Sarah "Sallie" Wright was the daughter of Joel Ellis Wright and Eliza Agnes Bates. Sarah "Sallie" Wright was born 10 March 1847 and died 8 November 1925. Sarah is buried in the Potter Family Cemetery, Payne Gap, KY near Abraham Potter 1837.

Abraham Potter 1837 married (1st) to Margaret "Peggy" Newsome. Margaret "Peggy" was the daughter of Hartwell "Will" Newsome and Sarah "Sallie" Tolley. Margaret "Peggy" Newsome was born in 1835 in VA and died about 1868. Margaret is buried in Dunham, Letcher Co., KY.

  Nancy Potter was born 16 February 1840 in Perry Co., KY and died 24 December 1909 in Letcher Co., KY. Nancy married on 13 December 1859 in Letcher Co., KY to Gabriel Hughes. Gabriel Hughes was born 11 May 1839 in Perry Co., KY. Gabriel was the son of John Hughes and Matilda Bentley. These are Sue Kovack's GG Grandparents.

  Margaret Potter was born in 1843 in Letcher Co., KY. Margaret married (1st) in 1863 to William P Newsome, son of Hartwell "Will" Newsome and Sarah "Sallie" Tolley. William P Newsome was born in 1841. Margaret married 2 September 1872 to (2nd) Wilbern Pigman. Wilbern was the son of John Westley Pigman and Rosanna Amburgey.

  Isaac "Shooter Ike" Potter was born 5 December 1845 in Potter's Fork, Letcher Co., KY and died 21 March 1924 in Lawrence Co., KY. Isaac married (1st) on 21 February 1866 to Mary "Polly" Ison. Mary was the daughter of Edward Ison. These are the Great Grandparents of Louise Vanover Vore.

Isaac married (2nd) on 16 January 1868 in Pike Co., KY to Elizabeth "Betty" Anderson. Elizabeth was born 3 December 1844 in Pike Co., KY and died 16 July 1925 in Lawrence Co., KY.   Mahala Mahaley Potter was born 9 February 1848 in KY twin to Manerva. Mahaley married in 1866  to William Waric. William was born in 1848.

  Manerva Potter was born 9 February 1848 in KY twin to Mahaley. Manerva died 24 September 1917. Manerva Potter married on 21 September 1866 to Will John A Morgan. John A Morgan was the son of James Morgan and Mary Emily Polly. John A Morgan was born 1840/1842.
